Edgebrook Covenant Church has a number of ministry teams that would welcome your participation. Learn about the exciting opportunities to serve God with your gifts at our church.
Church Leadership Team (Boards and Committees)
We are looking for church members to serve in elected leadership roles on the following boards: Christian Formation and Discipleship; Deacon; Trustee; and Executive boards. The election of new members takes place in January at our church congregational annual meeting.
Audio/Visual (AV) Team
The AV team comes alongside those participating in the worship service on Sunday mornings and at other special occasions throughout the year. This team ensures the congregation can see and hear worship. If you enjoy working behind the scenes with all forms of technology, this is the team for you. No experience necessary!
Church Choir
Do you enjoy lifting your voice in song to God? We invite you to participate in the church choir to express the holiness and joy of singing to God. Currently, the choir rehearses twice a month on Thursday evenings. All are welcome to participate in this ministry.
Meals Ministry
So often, cooking a meal is an additional stressor during a busy or challenging time. We consider it a calling and honor to provide families in our congregation with meal service following the arrival of a little one, during times of grief or times of physical ailment. Meals can be homemade or purchased from a restaurant and all are welcome to be part of this ministry.
Mission Outreach and Evangelism Team
What does it mean to be the hands and feet of Christ in a hurting world? Join this team as we help the church find opportunities to serve and support those who are serving in our city, nation and world.
Praise Ensemble
The Praise Ensemble seeks to use musical gifts to bring glory to God and to help inspire our church community to be drawn closer to His heart. Practice is held most Saturdays at 9:30 am and/or Sundays at 9am. Anyone interested in sharing a musical gift is also invited to participate with this ministry.
Worship and Arts Team
Do you enjoy creative brainstorming for the purpose of drawing people closer to God in worship? Join this team to help plan worship services and experiences.
Worship Enhancement Team
This team seeks innovative ways to encourage our congregation to praise and worship God with all their senses. Use your creative gifts to prepare the church sanctuary and other church spaces for our congregation to enter into worship.
