Church Work Day!
Serve on Sunday!
As we’ve returned to in-person worship services, we’re looking for volunteers to help on Sunday mornings! Volunteers will be trained on all of our new safety protocols as established by our Re-Opening Committee. Let us know if you’re interested in one of the following!
- Reservation Checkers: We’re implementing a reservation system to manage our current limited capacity for services. Can you help check reservations as people arrive and ensure we keep to our safe capacity limits? You’d also manage a “wait list” for those who don’t have a reservation.
- Temperature Checkers: Can you use our touchless thermometers to make sure no one has a fever? Anyone who has a temperature over 100°F will regretfully be asked to leave (sorry!).
- Ushers: Can you help people find socially distanced seats in the pews? You’d also help guide people regarding traffic flow, mask wearing, and other new protocols.
All Hospitality Team volunteers would need to arrive by 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning and be trained in our new protocols and procedures. We need at least 6 volunteers each Sunday. Contact our Office Manager, Greg Sager, at email@example.com if you’re interested!
We’re currently looking for people to help operate our new cameras, manage our sound system, and advance slides with song lyrics during our worship service. Contact our Office Manager, Greg Sager, at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested!
Other Ways to Serve!
Hunger knows no season, but is of special concern during this pandemic! Bring your food donations any Saturday or Sunday between 10 AM and 5 PM to Edgebrook Covenant Church and place them in the red bin outside the courtyard door by our sanctuary. Donations will be given to Fed With Grace, a ministry of Grace Evangelical Covenant Church.
A Wheels Ministry: Anyone interested in giving a ride to those needing help getting to the doctor, grocery store, etc., please contact Terri Wagner or the church office and we will compose a list. Thanks!
Our Meals Ministry team needs additional volunteers! Volunteers provide a meal (either home-cooked or store bought) for those with a health crisis, a new baby, or following the recent death of an immediate family member. Contact Anita at ahohen(at)sbcglobal.net to volunteer!
