Dr. Boaz Johnson will serve as Transitional Teaching Pastor at Edgebrook Covenant and is currently Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies at North Park University in Chicago.
Dr. Boaz was reared in a New Delhi slum. He received his high school education at a Hindu institution, and then received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. Megan Herrold Sinchi | Associate Pastor for Spiritual Formation
Pastor Megan joined the staff at Edgebrook Covenant in June 2020, delighted to find a pastoral home for her passions for discipleship, worship and community. She previously served on staff at Resurrection Covenant in Chicago; Dublin Vineyard in Dublin, Ireland; and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Northwestern University. She has also worked with various ministry areas at Covenant Offices, where she met her husband, (Angel) Javier (a Senior Investment Services Manager at National Covenant Properties). In 2018, she received her Masters in Christian Formation from North Park Theological Seminary (with study abroad at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary). In her free time, Pastor Megan enjoys books, movies, good food, time with family and walks through her home neighborhood of Albany Park.
Desiree Robertson | Worship & Music Director, Office Manager
Desiree and her husband, Zach, have enjoyed living in the Edgebrook neighborhood and serving at Edgebrook Covenant since fall 2017. Prior to her arrival on staff, however, Desiree was already known by many Edgebrook Covenanters as a child of the church! In addition to working at Edgebrook Covenant, Desiree is also a student at North Park Theological Seminary where she is working to earn her Masters of Christian Formation. In her spare time, Desiree loves to craft home décor and refurbish old furniture. Home organization is Desiree’s therapy, and everything she does is done with a cup of coffee in one hand and some chocolate in the other.
Greta Englund | Custodian
A child of the church, Greta returned to Edgebrook in 2021 to serve as our custodian. When not cleaning, mowing or shoveling snow, she enjoys triathlons, books, Thai food and time with her daughter, Alma.
