Our Executive Board has formally established a Re-Opening Committee to work through the issues and put into place whatever protocols are necessary to safely re-open our church building for Sunday morning worship and other gatherings. The committee consists of volunteers from our Executive Board and our church staff. The Executive Board encourages anyone who has questions or concerns about the re-opening of our church building to express those to any member of our church staff and they will be sure to bring those concerns to the Re-Opening Committee.
The Re-Opening Committee will communicate with our congregation as they make progress in their work. Recommendations of the committee will be brought to the Executive Board for discussion and decision.
The Executive Board has decided that as of September 1, we have the protocols in place to re-open limited spaces on the first floor of our building for staff and groups (25 people or fewer). Please contact the Office Manager if you would like to reserve the Chapel for your group to meet. We are still working to ready the building for in-person worship. We will, of course, continue to offer virtual worship each Sunday at 10 AM on our YouTube channel as we have throughout this pandemic.
Given the fluid nature of the COVID-19 crisis, we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we do our best to work through these challenging and changing realities. Everyone is anxious to be back together for worship and other gatherings but we want to do all we can to ensure we do this as safely and prudently as possible. Your prayers for the Re-opening Committee and our Executive Board are much needed and appreciated.
Thank you!
