Giving Thanks at Edgebrook Covenant Church

Edgebrook Covenant Church invites you to several meaningful and fun activities planned around Thanksgiving Day! All are welcome to attend and participate.

Giving Thanks Sunday

On November 19, we give thanks to God as a church community for his faithfulness and all he has provided for us.

  • 10 am: Worship and Praise
Opportunities are given, for those who wish to share those things for which we are grateful during our worship service. Special music, joyous congregational singing, and the conclusion to our “Let’s B.L.E.S.S. the World” sermon series.
  • 11:15 am: All Church Potluck in Fellowship Hall!
Guests are invited to attend and are under no obligation to bring food, although all donations are welcome.
    – Last name beginning with A thru M: please bring a main dish to share.
    – Last name beginning with N thru Z: please bring a salad or dessert to share.

Giving Thanks Offering

Between now and Giving Thanks Sunday (November 19), we will gratefully receive your “Giving Thanks Offering.” Details about this year’s offering are found on the Giving Thanks Offering page.

Edison Park Turkey Trot

Gobble Gobble! Get ready to run/walk a 5K to raise funds for Covenant Kids Congo. This is a family friendly event that will take place on Thanksgiving morning (November 23). Visit the Turkey Trot information page to learn more.

Edgebrook Holiday Stroll

We are joining the Edgebrook community for the annual Holiday Stroll that will feature caroling, Santa, ornament making, hot cocoa, a cookie walk, and a tree lighting. Our church will host one of the cookie stands, so we are looking for bakers to make 2-dozen Christmas cookies to contribute. The Holiday Stroll is Sunday, November 26, 3-5 pm. You can bring cookies to Sunday Service that day. Interested? Please contact Pastor Jill Lind and consider joining in the festivities!
